After a week of negotiations in an appeals court in Tulsa, the parents battling for custody of the child known as Baby Veronica did not reach an agreement, and the case is headed back to the Oklahoma Supreme Court.

The settlement judge in the Baby Veronica case issued the following statement this morning:


“The settlement conference ordered by the Oklahoma Supreme Court began last Monday morning and was concluded this Monday morning with no settlement agreement being reached.
