COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A Columbus Police dispatcher says an explosion at the department's headquarters has prompted an evacuation of the building but no injuries are reported.


The building is currently being evacuated and people will not be allowed back in.


The dispatcher says the explosion was reported at about 7:30 p.m. There's no word yet on a cause.


The explosion has not affected the department's 911 and non-emergency lines.


The dispatcher says the department did not receive any threats in connection with the explosion. No other details were released.
